About
Fulledge Colts Football Club
We are proud to offer football beginning at the age of 4 up to 18. With over 600 children registered and playing for teams, it is one of the largest grassroots clubs in the local area.
The club prides itself on providing a fun, safe and inclusive environment for both children and the adults that are involved in it. Despite its ever growing size, it is very much a family-orientated club that provides a relaxed and friendly approach.

Our Club History
2025 marks the clubs 30th Anniversary
Fulledge Colts was founded in 1995 by Brian Fuller and Dave Holmes.
Starting out with just one team on Fulledge Rec the club began its journey to become the ‘Pride of Burnley’. Over the last 30 years it has grown in size and stature, now boasting 50 teams; consisting of over 650 boys and girls from the local and surrounding area.
Through a committed and enthusiastic volunteer base that used the club as a platform to raise awareness and help many local causes in 2020 the club were honoured to receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.
The club continues to work with the local community, leagues and Lancashire FA in improving the standards and experience of grassroots football for youngsters in Burnley.
Dave Holmes has been a stalwart leader of the club, having overseen its growth throughout the last 30 years and remains a valued and much loved member serving as our club president.
